Rick brings a measure of experience in public speaking and performing weddings. Add a dash of organizational skills with a touch of fun he’ll make your special wedding ceremony exactly what you want. All types of relationships, ethnicities and settings, will be delightfully welcomed as he helps prepare you for the most memorable day in your life together. Rick was raised in the U. S. and has a Master’s degree in Liberal/Cultural Studies from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Rick has enjoyed a few careers, including a decade as a pastor and a stint as a popular radio host since moving to Canada in 2002. Now, he and Elisabeth, three pussycats and backyard full of birdfeeders live in Almonte.
Donna is a resident of Manotick and a graduate of Ottawa University with her B.A. and M.Ed. She enjoys piano lessons and her cycling and running pursuits. Donna really enjoys her voluntary work with Candlelighters, and assists Babouchka's Farm in Val des Monts with the sales and distribution of goat soap to benefit childhood cancer support programs. It will be a pleasure for Donna to bring you ease of mind and ensure lasting memories are created from your customized ceremony.
Brigitte was recently crowned the ‘Officiant of the Year 2017’ in Canada – Wedding Planning Institute of Canada. Brigitte is a fluently bilingual certified wedding planner and proud owner of Peak Planning Events. She has over 10 years of Wedding and Special Event Planning expertise and has been nominated for Best Wedding Planner in Ottawa 4 years in a row! This Ottawa native brings with her a wealth of industry knowledge and her zest for life to everyone she meets. She can help you with every wedding detail, with the care and attention as if it were her own special day. Licenced both in Ontario and Quebec, Brigitte respects and honours all religious, spiritual and cultural backgrounds. She is comfortable conducting French, English, bilingual or same-sex wedding ceremonies.
Natalie Joy is an experienced public speaker, educator, dog-lover and chocolate addict. Having spent her childhood in Saint-Isidore and her adult life in Ottawa, Natalie Joy is fluent in both official languages and is licensed to perform ceremonies in both Ontario and Quebec. A graduate of the University of Ottawa with a Masters of Fine Arts, Natalie Joy is compassionate, versatile and passionate about making your special occasion a memorable experience. In her spare time Natalie Joy can be found watching reruns of Star Trek or enjoying board games with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
Mike and his family live in Stittsville, and at their cottage in Portland near Smiths Falls. Mike has been an Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces and also a Federal civil servant. He is an experienced facilitator and public speaker comfortable in any setting. Not only will he work hard to perform your traditional or spiritual wedding ceremony to meet your needs, but Mike’s casual sense of humour will ensure your guests are relaxed while easing your mind so that you can truly savor the moment. During the summer Mike and his wife Terry can be found riding their motorcycles or enjoying quiet evenings boating, while winter will find them ballroom dancing to the sounds of big band music.
Christine is from Ottawa, married and has two independent adult sons. She embraces all the seasons through outdoor activities such as cross-country skiing, kayaking, cycling and hiking. She has a diverse background as a criminologist, horticulturalist and funeral minister. Through her ministry and as a volunteer Christine has served the community in various capacities relying on her creativity and strong interpersonal skills. Her world view embraces the full variety of faiths and traditions. She brings to the table a blend of professionalism, enthusiasm, grace and respect for all unions including same-sex. On your wedding day Christine will, with a calm compassionate presence, guide you through your genuinely meaningful and memorable wedding ceremony.
Francine is one of our award winning officiants. She lives in Ottawa, is perfectly bilingual and has over 20 years’ experience in public speaking. Francine is comfortable in both a small group setting and large venues . Dannielle is a Metis woman, mother, and grandmother whose roots are firmly embedded in Richmond. She lives on a beautiful horse farm where she and her therapeutic horses help families and youth towards spiritual growth and healing. She keenly understands the diversity in all people, and looks forward to conducting wedding ceremony for all who ask. Luc is one of our most experienced wedding officiants. He is a true 'people person', flexible and open-minded, with a love for life and all that is true. Allison lives in Carleton Place and is the proud parent of three children and enjoys riding horses; kayaking; gardening. She also skate; hike and has performed in musical theatre. Located in Richmond, Ontario, I am available to perform wedding ceremonies throughout the Ottawa Valley. Before becoming an Officiant, I was a teacher, and after I took time to raise my family, I returned to the work force as a Sales Rep for a major food Distributor. I have always had a strong sense of community and remain actively involved in several volunteer capacities.
