I have been celebrating marriage since early 2014 in English, French or Ukrainian. I am passionate about using the arts as a tool for education, leadership development, discussing social issues, and building community. With a Master of Education, and numerous years of volunteer experience in Jamaica and India, I am someone who appreciates and celebrates diversity. I am extremely personable, open-minded, and knowledgeable, which gives me the ability to perform spiritual, interfaith and same-sex wedding ceremonies as an ally, with respect and confidence.

Located in Richmond, Ontario, I am available to perform wedding ceremonies throughout the Ottawa Valley. I am an experienced Wedding Officiant, and I will be happy to discuss any type of wedding ceremony you choose. Before becoming an Officiant, I was a teacher, and after I took time to raise my family, I returned to the work force as a Sales Rep for a major food Distributor. I have always had a strong sense of community and remain actively involved in several volunteer capacities. As a mother of four and a grandmother of eight, I am confident that I can bring humour, understanding and patience to your wedding ceremony. I look forward to meeting with you to help create the perfect wedding experience.
Mike and his family live at their cottage in Portland near Smiths Falls from May to October and in Stittsville, the rest of the year. Mike was an officer with the Canadian Armed Forces and also a Federal civil servant. He is an experienced facilitator and public speaker comfortable in any setting. Not only will he work hard to perform your traditional or spiritual wedding ceremony to meet your needs, but Mike’s casual sense of humour will ensure your guests are relaxed while easing your mind so that you can truly savour the moment. During the summer Mike and his wife Terry can be found riding their motorcycles or enjoying quiet evenings boating, while winter will find them ballroom dancing to the sounds of big band music.
