Sandra, who lives in Braeside, believes that when it comes to your wedding day, it truly is “all about you”. You deserve to have the wedding ceremony of your dreams, and I would be honored to have the opportunity of working with you to make your vision a reality. I enjoy expressing myself through poetry and art. Other hobbies are reading, gardening and fishing. I have always been eager to help people so I trained and worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Grace Hospital in Ottawa. Then my wish to continue learning, combined with wanting to be creative, led me to train in Event Planning at Algonquin College. With that knowledge I have successfully organized a fundraiser for cancer, given consultation to brides and helped with a local bridal fair. As a Designated Minister , whatever your need may be, I would be thrilled to help you with the happiest, most magical and memorable wedding ceremony of your life.
As a Designated Minister my former career was as a Commisioned RCMP officer. I also had the most rewarding experience to travel to Africa and consult in the rebuilding of the Sierra Leone Police force. More recently, I enjoyed a four year term as Councillor for the Township of Greater Madawaska. Today, my wife Donna and I and our Portuguese Waterdog Mitzy, enjoy the great outdoors at home in Calabogie, and where I indulge in one of my passions; gardening. I look forward to officiating whatever type of wedding ceremony you would like for your special day.
When it comes to your Wedding, it’s all about the two of you! I have dedicated my career of 38 years helping people. Living life well is my credo . My husband and I call Calabogie home sharing our lives with our children and grandchildren. When I am not in my garden tending herbs and flowers, my summer hobbies include golf and tennis. Winter months are spent snowshoeing with our Alaskan Malamute. I’ve done some fun events including being a key-note speaker at wellness conferences and I’ve even been a guest on the “A” channel morning talk show with Angie. I’m mindful, sincere and have a sense of humour, and I would be delighted to make your wedding ceremony very special.
Nancy was voted by her peers in 2016 as the 'Most Popular Wedding Officiant/Celebrant in Pembroke' at the prestigious international Wedding Industry Experts Awards. I am thrilled to participate and officiate in your wedding! Every couple is unique and this allows me to learn something from you about love, something about life and something about your relationship. I married in 1978 and have three children and grandchildren. We have a home in Pembroke and a working farm in Quebec. Upon retirement from DND, I fulfilled a life long dream and returned to school and completed an undergraduate degree in Law at Carleton University. I'm licenced to conduct ceremonies in Ontario and Quebec. I will approach your wedding ceremony with attention and put my heart and soul into your ceremony. I look forward to being part of your special day.
I would be thrilled to be your Officiant and participate in your journey to unite love, lives and families. My husband Ric and our two children moved to the beautiful community of Constance Bay in 1990. After several successful years in high tech customer service, I am now a proud small business owner and minister focusing on mental and spiritual wellness in the community. One of my passions is to play a part in the happiest moments of peoples’ lives and to conduct your wedding ceremony. I would love to hear all about your plans and work with you to make it the most special day of your life.
Marriage is an extraordinary gift that you and your partner give to each other, and a wonderful opportunity to bring families together. My husband and I were both born and raised in Pembroke and currently raise our three children here in this wonderful community. Now that my days of being a dedicated hockey/dance/baseball mom are slowing down, I have more time to devote to my own pastimes, including golfing and being the best dog mom I can be. Our family loves summer in the Valley and boating on the Ottawa River. After you and I get to know each other, I will be there to help you prepare a personalized wedding ceremony of your choice filled with love and happiness. I want to make you both feel confident and reassured knowing that your vision will come true on your wedding day.
