My (now) husband and I moved into our first home in June and decided we wanted to get married in our backyard in July, 25 days later! We wanted only an officiant and two witnesses and started to research our options. All Seasons Weddings looked to be a great option, and when looking up officiants in our area, Mary Collinson appeared, someone I knew and respected from my home area. I immediately called All Seasons to see if a quick wedding could be planned; not only would this be possible, but Mary responded immediately, set up a schedule to discuss our wishes, AND provided two witnesses as we are new to the area! She was in constant contact up until the day of the ceremony to ensure all went smoothly. The ceremony she planned for our intimate gathering was perfect, and the personal touches she added made the day even better. Mary also provided complete instructions for applying for the marriage certificate once the marriage is registered with the province. Seeing Mary's video was a great way to get a sense of her warm and enthusiastic personality, and within our first conversation with her we knew we were in great hands. From our first meeting over the phone, to a detailed in-person meeting a month before the wedding, to the rehearsal with our party, Mary took the time to get to know us as a couple and helped us immensely along the way in preparation for our ceremony. She is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented and organized, which we appreciated greatly especially since we planned and coordinated our wedding ourselves - quickly realizing how much there was to learn and remember along the way. She had thought of every detail when it came to running a smooth ceremony, even giving us tips on how to ensure the photographers could easily capture important moments. We got married in a unique venue with a fairly non-traditional layout, and Mary was open and receptive to our ideas and any changes we wanted to make to the ceremony. It went off without a hitch and we couldn't have been happier! Highly recommend Mary to anyone who wants an officiant who is not only very skilled at what she does, but personally invested in your special day being as perfect as possible. Thank you, Mary! Mary Collinson was the utmost professional, always punctual, willing to accommodate by working with us when schedules needed to change and patient while explaining the process for our big day. Mary brought calm into a day that, at least for the couple; inherently comes with some stress and a little chaos. Mary’s previous carrier as a teacher and experience as an athletics coach shows through and makes her well suited for directing such an important event.
