Originally from Toronto (Scarborough), Elizabeth fell in love with the beautiful area of Kawartha Lakes known as Bethany hills where she and her partner now live. Marriage, family, community, inclusivity, generosity, and volunteerism are values she holds dear and strives daily to perfect. Liz pursues her interest in travel and has expanded her love of music by volunteering with the Bobcaygeon Music Council. I’m a Peterborough/Kawarthas based bilingual officiant (English & French) with degrees from the University of Toronto and Laurentian with a passion for running and cycling. As a father to four daughters, I’ve seen first-hand how important, memorable and hectic wedding planning can be. Leigh was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. With an undergraduate in Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a B.A. in Canadian History from Trent University, Leigh has worked in government for over twenty years. She is a certified municipal officer and an experienced wedding officiant, conducting more than 200 wedding ceremonies since 2005. Leigh firmly believes in the right of couples to plan the special ceremony of their choosing. Matthew a resident of Oshawa has a natural ability to connect with people. He will help to make your traditional, special theme or same –sex wedding ceremony everything you want it to be. Steven who lives in Oshawa, is an Appointed Minister with Clergy Support Church. He is a very caring and compassionate person with a great sense of humour. He loves life, his wife of 25 years and his 2 teenage children. Steven has seen everything life can throw at you and believes the key to getting through anything is laughter. Conducting weddings since 2001 he has an uncanny ability to put people at ease and to lighten any moment to ensure everyone is comfortable and has a great day. He will work with you to ensure that your wedding day will be everything you dreamed it to be.
Shawn is available to serve the Bay of Quinte Region and beyond. He has over 25 years of professional counselling experience with couples and their families. He is a caring individual, committed to the principles of diversity and inclusion and welcomes couples of all backgrounds. Shawn and his wife of 25 years have centered their lives around the joy of raising their three daughters. One of Shawn’s primary hobbies is his love of photography. It has brought him over eight years’ experience as an accomplished professional wedding photographer, so he understands the importance of your wedding day. An avid reader and lifelong learner he enjoys a good fiction novel, while trying to stay current with his counselling research. Shawn is a Designated Minister with Clergy Support Memorial.
Iain is located in Bailieboro, and will work diligently with you to make sure your wedding celebration realizes your wishes. A hospital Chaplain, he's grown to have a deep respect for the many different ways people experience the Divine in their lives and welcomes your special requests to customize your service to make it meaningful and unique to you. He is a caring and sensitive person who can be trusted to conduct your ceremony in a manner that is friendly and memorable. As an affirming minister, Iain is comfortable working with people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, as well as with mixed-faith and mixed-culture couples.
Jennifer is involved in many weddings each year. She has great fun personality, offering custom ceremony services to Grafton and the surrounding areas. She believes that we should treat people the way we would like to be treated and understand each person has their own story and life that we have not lived. Marg is orginally from the Port Hope area, where she remained and settled with her partner along with their favourite dog, Juno. She is a people person who believes that your spiritual, traditional or same gender wedding ceremony is about taking your story and creating a memorable moment for both of you. Marg is the mother of two adult children and two new grandsons. Marg enjoys performing wedding ceremonies and seeing the closeness and joy it brings to the couple, their families and friends. She does her best to stay healthy and fit (Juno helps) and enjoys teaching Aqua Fit classes to seniors.
