Originally from Toronto (Scarborough), Elizabeth fell in love with the beautiful area of Kawartha Lakes known as Bethany hills where she and her partner now live. Liz pursues her interest in travel and has expanded her love of music by volunteering with the Bobcaygeon Music Council. Brenda is a wife, mother, and grandmother living in Norwood in the Peterborough area. She’s very family oriented and absolutely loves when generations overlap in celebration. Complementing her vivacious personality, Brenda is a very organized, thorough, and creative individual who is open to performing your personalized wedding ceremony. Her hobbies include reading, baking (especially pies) and running 5 km charity runs. As an active Appointed Designated Minister she is is also continuingly exercising mind, soul, and spirit. After having enjoyed a career teaching high school English, Latin and Drama in Toronto for three decades, I’ve now retired to Bobcaygeon to run a Bed and Breakfast. My hobbies include the Arts, antiques, animals, and travel.
Elizabeth lives at Omemee on a farm with spouse Peter and their three children. She is a graduate of Queens in English and Religion. She is a long time volunteer with the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies. Elizabeth is also active in 'Brainchild' , helping parents who have a child with a brain tumor. Elizabeth is a caring individual who will work with you to make your wedding ceremony all you want it to be. Her calm and professional manner will be a welcome part of your day.
Tim has 23 years of experience and has officiated 100’s of weddings in and around Owen Sound, Colborne and Havelock. He and his wife Marilyn live in Peterborough and have two children, two grandchildren and tank full of fish. Tim has a Bachelor of Theology from the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, and a Master of Education degree specializing in Learning Disabilities, and Educational Technology from Athabasca University. Officiating weddings has always been one of his most enjoyable tasks. Tim believes every wedding ceremony should be a joyful and unique experience for the couple. It will be his delight to apply his experience to your special day.
Iain is located in Bailieboro, and will work diligently with you to make sure your wedding celebration realizes your wishes. A hospital Chaplain, he's grown to have a deep respect for the many different ways people experience the Divine in their lives and welcomes your special requests to customize your service to make it meaningful and unique to you. He is a caring and sensitive person who can be trusted to conduct your ceremony in a manner that is friendly and memorable. As an affirming minister, Iain is comfortable working with people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, as well as with mixed-faith and mixed-culture couples.
Graduating from Trent University with a degree in Environmental Resource Studies, along with a Master of Education degree, Pat fell in love with the Kawarthas and settled in Peterborough. He and his wife Christine have three children. Pat brings his leadership skills, relaxed and flexible manner along with a love of life to any wedding celebration. Pat is a Designated Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church and is available to perform weddings in the Madoc and Marmora area, where cottage-life engages his passion for the great outdoors. Pat’s belief in the ‘Golden Rule’ inspires him to provide a memorable, unique, and personal touch to match your individual spirituality on your special day.
