Located in Richmond, Ontario, I am available to perform wedding ceremonies throughout the Ottawa Valley. I am an experienced Wedding Officiant, and I will be happy to discuss any type of wedding ceremony you choose. Before becoming an Officiant, I was a teacher, and after I took time to raise my family, I returned to the work force as a Sales Rep for a major food Distributor. I have always had a strong sense of community and remain actively involved in several volunteer capacities. As a mother of four and a grandmother of eight, I am confident that I can bring humour, understanding and patience to your wedding ceremony. I look forward to meeting with you to help create the perfect wedding experience.

Alan is an Appointed Designated Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church. He is known around the city as 'The Wedding Chaplain' and he is probably the best known wedding officiant in the Ottawa area. Recently a couple sent these remarks: 'We are over the moon happy with your performance at our wedding. Some of the comments we received from our parents and our guests is that you were personal, funny, a great public speaker, genuine and “ran the ceremony like a pro". Luc and I are so happy we were able to have you head our ceremony. Please know that you do a fantastic job and anyone that hires you for their special day can sit back and relax because you have all the details and intimacy handled. Thank you +++Natalie and Luc. Just one word of caution. He books up well in advance! Another couple said: If there was an "above and beyond' option, we would select that one. Alan is an amazing person. Everyone is still talking about how much they adored him! See more on his Video.

Ed lives in the Ottawa area with his wife (and best friend), younger daughter, and their dogs (admittedly, very spoiled dogs!). He's perfectly bilingual in English and Spanish, and he could also perform your wedding ceremony in basic French. Ed is a Designated Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church and holds his Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity degrees. His time is shared as Church Administrator, a hospital chaplain, and training as a psychotherapist. While he may sound a little “too churchy” for some folks, Ed understands that, on your wedding day, YOU are a blessing to the world and your day should be a most memorable one. Your married life journey begins with your wedding day, and he is only too happy to assist you to make that day your very own. Ed is comfortable officiating your wedding with or without a tie on, in summer comfort, in a suit, or with a collar and religious vestments if that’s your thing. Ed loves reading, doing research, and writing. He is also blessed with a musical family, playing musical instruments and singing. Ed also loves golf, even though you will probably never see him on the PGA Tour!

It’s an honour and a privilege to be asked to perform your wedding ceremony. How can one not want to share and be part of the energy that surrounds the love of two people. My family and our dog Dixie live a simple life in Kanata. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their adventures, and so I volunteer with the Royal Canadian Legion and the Sports Club. My hobbies include a good mystery novel or movie and trying to find out “who done it” before the ending. Although I don’t have a green thumb, I enjoy puttering in my garden and sampling the tastes of the fruits of my labour.
