He is known around the city as 'The Wedding Chaplain' and he is probably the best known wedding officiant in the Ottawa area. Recently a couple sent these remarks: 'We are over the moon happy with your performance at our wedding. Some of the comments we received from our parents and our guests is that you were personal, funny, a great public speaker, genuine and “ran the ceremony like a pro". Luc and I are so happy we were able to have you head our ceremony. Please know that you do a fantastic job and anyone that hires you for their special day can sit back and relax because you have all the details and intimacy handled. Thank you +++Natalie and Luc. Just one word of caution. He books up well in advance! Another couple said: If there was an "above and beyond' option, we would select that one. Alan is an amazing person. Everyone is still talking about how much they adored him! See more on his Video.

It’s an honour and a privilege to be asked to perform your wedding ceremony. How can one not want to share and be part of the energy that surrounds the love of two people. My family and our dog Dixie live a simple life in Kanata. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their adventures, and so I volunteer with the Royal Canadian Legion and the Sports Club. My hobbies include a good mystery novel or movie and trying to find out “who done it” before the ending. Although I don’t have a green thumb, I enjoy puttering in my garden and sampling the tastes of the fruits of my labour.
