Originally from the Congo, Fidèle spent 17 years living in Germany and Austria and since 2016 has been living in Manor Park in Ottawa. Fidèle is a former Catholic priest who, since having married, understands the richness married life can bring when you find the right person. Fidèle is fluent in English, French and German and his love and ability to learn languages led to a ministry career in teaching. Presently, he's a relaxed professional language teacher for the public. Known for his energetic and optimistic approach to life, Fidèle enjoys writing, music-making, and provides community support for new immigrants. He also is passionate about soccer and cycling, sharing life with his wife Julie Ann and friends of all ages. Fidèle would be delighted to meet you and help you celebrate your love story!
Karine is open-minded, generous and has the utmost respect for couple's commitment. She is excellent at helping people finding simple gestures, words and songs that will add meaning to your unique wedding ceremony. She is fluently bilingual in French and English and lives in Ottawa. She graduated with a BA in Women’s Studies from York University, she worked for four years in Asia as a teacher, and now her focus is on raising awareness about mental health and wellness. Karine’s always up for a road trip, and enjoys the opportunity to meet new people and discover new places. We know you will enjoy working with her.
Luc is one of our most experienced wedding officiants. He is a true people person, flexible and open-minded, with a love for life and all that is true. She is retired from the City of Ottawa where she was appointed by the city clerk to perform English, French and bilingual wedding ceremonies. The institution of marriage is sacred to her. Her energy, warmth and inviting personality makes everyone comfortable immediately. She is open-minded, loves working with couples to ensure their ceremony is perfect for them, and is always happy to go out of her way to please. She has a deep respect of other cultures and faiths. She has also performed many same sex ceremonies and feels privileged when a couple chooses her to unite them in marriage. Julie lives with her husband of more than 30 years in Casselman where they raised their two amazing sons and their energetic goldendoodle. Ken is very comfortable meeting special requests and delivering ceremonies that incorporate cultural and religious content. His enthusiasm and excitement will make your wedding truly memorable. A strong advocate for mental health education and fundraising, particularly for Alzheimer’s, Ken is also an avid lover of hockey, food, and above all, dogs!
