Jean is a true people person. With him, it will feel like your wedding ceremony is performed by a long-time family friend! Fluently bilingual in French and English and a resident of Gatineau, this experienced Designated Minister is at his best speaking before a crowd, big or small. He will work with you to give your own personal touches to your ceremony. Diversity and inclusion are values dear to Jean’s heart; he received two awards for his work on Pride Week and an Inclusion Symposium. Jean enjoys the performing arts; from concerts at the NAC to being invited by his friend to watch and support his child’s dance competition. He is also the proud cat dad of Bokchoy, Pamplemousse and Ravioli.
Located in Richmond, Ontario, I am available to perform wedding ceremonies throughout the Ottawa Valley. I am an experienced Wedding Officiant, and I will be happy to discuss any type of wedding ceremony you choose. Before becoming an Officiant, I was a teacher, and after I took time to raise my family, I returned to the work force as a Sales Rep for a major food Distributor. I have always had a strong sense of community and remain actively involved in several volunteer capacities. As a mother of four and a grandmother of eight, I am confident that I can bring humour, understanding and patience to your wedding ceremony. I look forward to meeting with you to help create the perfect wedding experience.
Ed lives in the Ottawa area with his wife (and best friend) and their dog (admittedly, a very spoiled dog). He's perfectly bilingual in English and Spanish, and he could also perform your wedding ceremony in basic French. Ed is a Designated Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church and holds his Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity degrees. His time is shared as Church Administrator, a hospital chaplain, and training as a psychotherapist. While he may sound a little “too churchy” for some folks, Ed understands that, on your wedding day, YOU are a blessing to the world and your day should be a most memorable one. Your married life journey begins with your wedding day, and he is only too happy to assist you to make that day your very own. Ed is comfortable officiating your wedding with or without a tie on, in summer comfort, in a suit, or with a collar and religious vestments if that’s your thing. Ed loves reading, doing research, and writing. He is also blessed with a musical family, playing musical instruments and singing. Ed also loves golf, even though you will probably never see him on the PGA Tour!

Jody and his family have lived in the Ottawa area for many generations and the city holds a special place in his heart. A connoisseur of geek and pop culture, Jody is also an experienced actor, host and improviser. He’s quick with his wit and able to accommodate your wishes for a personalized wedding ceremony. He excels at creating and planning events and ensures everyone is having a good time. At the end of the day, he loves winding down in his Barrhaven home with his wife, mother-in-law and young daughter, with a cup of tea and one of their two cats on his lap.
