He lives with his beloved wife and 3 daughters and is committed to finding the sacred in all beliefs, experiences and life situations. Shirley spends the majority of her leisure time as an artist, and also enjoys reading, creative writing, cooking, and travel. Ted Morris is a creative writer, a retired journalist and broadcaster, and an outdoorsman. Much of his pleasures comes from canoeing, sailing, swimming and flying. He has visited cathedrals and chapels of Europe, shrines of India, Nepal, and Japan, and sees a piece of The Almighty in every individual. Ted studied humanities at McMaster, Scottish Country dancing and Celtic culture at the Haliburton School of the Arts, and was ordained an Episcopal priest in 2002. Your wedding is his pleasure and he'd be pleased to use his creative skills to help you craft a ceremony for your special day. Mimi lives in Markham, coming from Hong Kong to Canada in 1987. Mimi is fluent in Cantonese and English, and communicates well in Mandarin. She is open to all types of wedding ceremonies. Mimi is a single mom and she looks forward to witness the formation and union of new families. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, as well as two designations in the financial industry. With a background as a financial adviser, Mimi has worked with lots of young couples from a variety of different backgrounds. She also has lots of contacts who can help you to plan your wedding. I’m a Queens Graduate (92) with my own law practice and I teach part time in the Para Legal program at Humber College. I am also an appointed Designated Minister so I am open to many paths. I live in Etobicoke but serve a large part of the GTA including downtown. I love meeting and interacting with new people as well as advocating for people who cannot advocate for themselves. In my younger days I also completed several half-marathons, duathlons and triathlons. I hold out hope that I will one day finish a full marathon and maybe an Ironman Triathlon! Besides travelling, I enjoy experimenting with vegetarian cooking, and organizing and participating in activities with family and friends, including my 9 godchildren and 15 nieces and nephews.

Being a wedding officiant is Rachel’s way to honour her late parents who also worked in the wedding industry during their 46 year marriage. Rachel is an experienced speaker, a firm believer in marriage equality, and she would be thrilled to conduct your ceremony. Always expanding her interests, she's obtained her licence as a private investigator and enjoys making handfasting cords and other ceremonial products which help her learn and explore aspects of wedding rituals from around the world.
