Mary, the love of my life, and I recently moved to Elmira, Ontario (after a few years in Kitchener, and many years in Milton). We are the proud parents of Alex, a Robotics Engineer and in-laws to the lovely Breigh as we celebrated their wedding in June 2019. I cherish family time and love to travel. With a diploma from Ryerson’s Hospitality Program (1980), a career in hospitality and then industrial customer service, I have had a lifelong passion of working with and serving people. Located in Hamilton, Rebecca is a deeply spiritual minister and has always been captivated by ritual, relationships and couples in love. Love is the most powerful and healing of emotions, and your wedding ceremony is all about celebrating the love that You and Your partner share. Her ministerial training has helped her become a consumate public speaker, able to convey your unique love story to your guests. She's also a good person to ask about the wine selection for your reception, as she was once a professional Sommelier and Wine Educator. In her leasure time, she is a music enthusiast and plays the piano and guitar; loves sailing on Lake Ontario and volunteering with the Lions Foundation Dog Guides.
Ruth is a resident of Hamilton and one of our most requested officiants. She is passionate about supporting people’s choices in life and love and will be comfortable conducting your wedding ceremony. She is happily married in an interfaith, interracial union and has three children and a black lab. She was voted woman of the year by the Status of Woman in 2005 and Mohawk teacher of the year in 2012 and 13. With her free time, you can find her walking, at the gym, doing yoga, attending festivals and watching her son and his rock band, or watching sports events, including her children's. She believes “true life lies in laughter, love and hard work.”
Located in Burlington, Rita is one of our highly requested officiants and approaches all her ceremonies with enthusiasm, humour, professionalism, and experience. Rita loves working with all couples and embraces all individual choices and beliefs. Marianne resides in Brantford, but emigrated from the Netherlands as a child. A bonus byproduct is she is fluent in both English and Dutch! She is well respected in her community as Designated Minister and Wedding Officiant. Marianne is outgoing and always sees the positive in life with a mixture of love, humour and compassion. She is the mother of three adult sons and one of her fondest memories is officiating her eldest son’s wedding. Marianne also enjoys knitting, cycling and reading. Drew originally comes from Nova Scotia and after travelling and working around the world has settled in Hamilton, Ontario. Drew is an experienced public speaker. He has a strong commitment to helping others and actively volunteers in the community and has served on provincial and national volunteer organizations and boards. Drew is comfortable in all settings and has been as appointed designated minister since 2010. Chris was recently voted by his peers in the wedding Industry as the most popular wedding officiant in the Hamilton area in the coveted annual Wedding Expert Awards. He is our most requested officiant in the city. With his great experience Chris says: 'Weddings are far more about the 'couple' than they are about the 'officiant'. Nicholas lives on the Hamilton mountain and is no stranger to ceremonies, community work, or speaking engagements. A past career as a Community Development Manager, and a Chef leading cooking shows on TV has given this minister his upbeat and outgoing personality. He hopes to assist you with your unique wedding ceremony, and the start of your life with your special partner. His passion for life and values have served him well as a husband and a father of three great men. Nicholas enjoys traveling, cooking and is fortunate to combine his two loves when he has the opportunity.
