Tara JohnstonTara was born in Baghdad, and has been living in the Niagara region for 20 years. She celebrates and supports any wedding ceremony of your choosing and can perform them in both Arabic or English if desired. She is comfortable in front of large crowds with her Honours degree in Dramatic Arts and a minor in Psychology from Brock University. Tara also has an Events Management Diploma from George Brown College. With her background in the events industry in Niagara and hospitality, she’s one of our most energetic Officiants. You can find her at a theatre, volunteering around the community, at a museum and trying new foods. She is also enjoys skydiving! Tara will bring enthusiasm, care and attention to your big day.

Matthew HarbinMatthew will work with you to provide a unique spiritual or same gender wedding ceremony tailored to fit your personality, wedding theme, including highlights which make your love for each other unique. Matthew is an Environmental Consulting Scientist with a Bachelor in Physical Geography from Brock University and an Environmental Management Diploma from Niagara College. He and his wife live in St. Catharines, and when not out walking their two dogs, you will likely find them cruising on their motorcycles through beautiful wine country. Matthew believes in, and respects the power of love between any two people and would be honoured to perform the wedding ceremony of your dreams.

Catherine SkinnerCatherine Skinner along with being a Designated Minister is a writer, blogger, and entrepreneur who lives in St. Davids, ON with her family and three amazing children. With a background in performance and extensive experience as an event producer and coordinator, she is perfectly at ease speaking in public and understands the nuances that each little detail lends to a special day. Catherine passionately believes in every person’s right to love, family, tradition and ritual however unique their approach may be. Large gatherings or small, traditional or non-conventional; whichever your choice, Catherine feels deeply honored whenever she can be a part of such cherished milestones.

Through her schooling and travels she has met people from many backgrounds with differing stories of life and love.
