Born and raised in Sudbury, David moved to Windsor in 2002 and he looks forward to being able to share in the joy of the uniting of people through their wedding ceremony whether in English or a bilingual English & French. Since his move to Windsor, David has volunteered much time locally and within South Western Ontario with Kin Clubs to support organizations such as Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Victorian Order of Nurses (VON), and Together in Caring. When not working or volunteering, David enjoys spending his time gaming with his partner and children, ballroom dancing (it looks so much easier on TV), playing pool and cooking. Rev. David is trustworthy, generous and compassionate, and as an appointed designated minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church, and he will always go a step beyond when helping to make your wedding day special and memorable.
Rev Kelly is an Ordained Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church and celebrates a life-long career of “people-ing”. Her five-foot frame is never short, pun intended, on making a positive difference and raising the bar on kindness. She was born in Windsor yet spent quite a bit of her time in the country satisfying her equestrian passion. Kelly has served hundreds of families and has earned the reputation of an insightful listener and refined communicator conducting ceremonies that are remarkably tailored and forever treasured. Kelly is a dedicated professional capable of combining her quick wit, creativity, linguistic flare and energy to deliver once-in-a-lifetime moments for couples. She challenges herself to complete a half-marathon each year, is a Hospice volunteer and always saves time to spend with her two children and fur baby Piper.
Vera was recently voted by her peers as the ‘Most Popular Wedding Officiant in Windsor’ at the prestigious international Wedding Industry Experts Awards. Vera is a very warm, genuine, compassionate and caring person who loves to help people and will go the extra mile to make your wedding ceremony most memorable. Vera has conducted hundreds of wedding ceremonies of every kind and in a multitude of locations. She will sit down and suggest ways you can customize your wedding vows. She will work with you to make sure that your wedding ceremony will be enjoyed by everyone.
Jonathan has a presence that you sense upon meeting him. He currently lives in Leamington and is the founder of Freedom Church of Windsor, where everyone is free to be who they are called to be. He has had the privilege of performing numerous weddings and celebrations of life throughout Windsor and Essex County. Through his many years of service his community, Jonathan’s been involved in many outreach initiatives such as a clothing bank, food bank, weekly meals for the community. Jonathan is an advocate of social inclusiveness and justice for all people and his heart has always been in outreach and impacting the lives of those around him. He is an ordained minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church and is considered by many colleagues and friends to be passionate, caring and motivated. He would be honoured to be part of your wedding celebration.
Educated at St. Clair College and the University of Windsor, Victoria took the plunge and retired from a rewarding career as a Project Director with Hiram Walker & Sons. Now she finds reward in being an Officiant and working with couples. Victoria was raised in Windsor and has resided in the town of Tecumseh over 30 years where she and her husband raised their two children. She loves camping, and stays fit kayaking, hiking and biking. Quilting and crocheting satisfy her creative side and she volunteers through Project Linus making quilts for local hospitals and toques for newborns. Victoria is also assisting refugee families to settle in Windsor. Victoria is best described as a dependable, joyful and engaging person. She believes your special day should be just that - special.
As a long-time minister with Clergy Support Church, Christina would be honoured to help create a wedding ceremony that is romantic, meaningful and personal. She is a true Essex County resident; raised in Windsor, educated at the University of Windsor and recently retired from a rewarding secondary school teaching profession. This mother of three is happily married and enjoys volunteering in her community, playing volleyball, golf and the piano. She will make family and friends feel welcomed and included, and ensure that your wedding ceremony reflects your dreams and desires. She looks forward to making your special day a memorable event.
I will help make your special day the best it can be and I take pride in making you my number one priority. As a certified wedding planner in Kingsville, I understand the importance of all aspects of your special day. I am comfortable with wedding ceremonies from the intimate to the elaborate, the non-traditional to the traditional. I have all of your bases covered throughout Windsor and Essex County and beyond. I am fluently bilingual in English and French and have a degree in translation from the University of Ottawa. I’m also a certified sommelier and enjoy writing a monthly wine column for several Essex County newspapers. I thank you for the opportunity to be your Officiant.
Lisa was born and raised in Windsor and feels privileged and honoured to be a part of something so amazing as a wedding ceremony. She’s pretty good with languages and would be happy to incorporate sentence or two in French or in Italian to your English ceremony if that is your desire. Lisa makes herself available to help others and has a long history of volunteer work in the community including counselling work, raising funds for the Kidney Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis and Breast Cancer, and supporting Bluesfest and Kin Clubs activities. She loves to play with her camera capturing friends, family and nature photos, cooking, and ballroom dancing every chance she gets. As an appointed designated minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church, she enjoys seeing those around her happy and successful and her caring, empathetic and supportive nature helps her bring out the best in people.
Jeffery is an Appointed Minister and a life-long resident of Windsor, and is familiar with the wonderful amenities and attractions the area has to offer. Jeffery’s love for his community and his drive to help the troubled youth and their families has led him to volunteer most of his free time to the Maryvale Adolescence and Family Services organization. Besides his volunteer work, he enjoys learning and a good game of billiards or chess. Nothing brings Jeffery more joy than the closeness and love that accompanies a wedding ceremony. His priority is to ensure you receive a respectful and dignified ceremony, and your families and friends enjoy the moment.
Gerry is an Appointed Minister with Clergy Support Church. He was born and raised in Windsor. He taught elementary school in Windsor before obtaining his doctorate from the University of South Carolina and served on the faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He’s worked with the Hospice of Windsor/Essex County, coached minor baseball, hockey and enjoys golfing and fishing. It won’t take you long to notice one of Gerry's strengths is his attention to detail, follow up and communication with you to make your wedding ceremony a memorable one. Gerry enjoys being an Officiant and seeing people laugh and have fun.
Brittany is a Windsor native, a wife and mother with a background in Human Resources and event planning. A graduate in Business Administration-Human Resources from St. Clair College, Brittany and her husband find Windsor a great place to raise a family, including their three cats. She is passionate about focusing on the little things to make your wedding ceremony special. Brittany’s favourite ways to give back is helping to produce the Easter Seals Ontario telethon, and by participating in the WESPY (Windsor Essex Sports Person of the Year) Awards every year.
