Sonja possesses the ability to listen and understand, and wants to ensure you that your wishes will be reflected for your spiritual, traditional or same gender wedding ceremony. She’s also fluent in English and German. Sonja moved from Adelaide, Australia to Oshawa, Canada as a teenager. After attending Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology, Sonja worked in law offices and as a Freelance Conveyancer for 29 years. Since 2001, Sonja has worked at a cancer support centre in Oshawa, providing emotional peer support to cancer patients and their families. Her free time is happily filled with activities involving her mother, two adult children and their spouses, and her four precious grandchildren.
Kinga has a love for people, their beliefs/spirituality, choices, traditions and individual expression and as such honours these to help you create the wedding ceremony that will express your souls’ desire. As an artist, she has a gift for combining creative ideas and concepts and making them work together. Kinga lives in Oshawa, ON but originally hails from Hungary. Cecilia Craig was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and since meeting her husband, has lived in the Durham Region since 2005. She has a love for people, nature and animals (especially dogs and horses!!). Cecilia has worked over 24 years in management roles in the hospitality, financial and healthcare industries. When asked why she wanted to be an Officiant she responded, “I love being able to work with people at the happiest time of their lives and to be able to help make their ceremony unique and special to fit who they are and what they want.”
