Located in Richmond, Ontario, I am available to perform wedding ceremonies throughout the Ottawa Valley. I am an experienced Wedding Officiant, and I will be happy to discuss any type of non-denominational wedding ceremony you choose. Before becoming an Officiant, I was a teacher, and after I took time to raise my family, I returned to the work force as a Sales Rep for a major food Distributor. I have always had a strong sense of community and remain actively involved in several volunteer capacities. As a mother of four and a grandmother of eight, I am confident that I can bring humour, understanding and patience to your wedding ceremony. I look forward to meeting with you to help create the perfect wedding experience.
My name is Lucie Chayko, and I’m so happy to be an officiant! It is truly a passion of mine to work with each unique couple to achieve their vision for their wedding day. No matter what you are looking for, I am dedicated to working with you and guiding you in preparing your unique ceremony by truly listening to you. Your thoughts, feelings and wishes are important to me. I am fluently bilingual: a Francophone married since 1991 to a unilingual Anglophone. I am from the Outaouais and reside in Hull with my husband and our son. Enthusiastic about life, I share my son’s motto: “MIH” – Make It Happen! With my 10 + years of experience as a senior bilingual professional trainer/facilitator, I have proven my leadership skills and my sense of humour. I have been known to add just the right touch of humour to make the ceremony memorable for everyone to leave with a smile in their hearts. I am currently continuing my studies part-time, while working full time as a proud federal public servant. I also enjoy helping others achieve their best as a life coach. Chocolate is my go to as is driving with loud music on the highway of life!!! I hope to be your chosen officiant to perform a wedding ceremony that reflects you both!
