Leigh was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. With an undergraduate in Public Administration from the University of Victoria, Leigh has worked in government for twenty years, is a certified municipal officer, records manager and experienced wedding officiant, conducting more than 100 wedding ceremonies since 2005. Leigh firmly believes in the right of couples (including same-sex couples) to plan a non–denominational or spiritual ceremony of their choosing. She is a long time volunteer with the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies. Elizabeth is also active in 'Brainchild' , helping parents who have a child with a brain tumor. Elizabeth is a caring individual who will work with you to make your wedding ceremony all you want it to be whether non–denominational or spiritual. I’m comfortable conducting a traditional, spiritual, interfaith or same-sex wedding ceremony of your choosing. I’m a B.A. graduate of Victoria College, University of Toronto in English Language and Literature, having also studied the Classics and Italian. After having enjoyed a career teaching high school English, Latin and Drama in Toronto for three decades, I’ve now retired to Bobcaygeon to run a Bed and Breakfast. My hobbies include the Arts, antiques, animals, and travel.
