Nancy is located in west end Ottawa, and is a business psychology specialist and corporate trainer who has spent over 30 years in front of audiences, large and small. Having previously worked as a European tour manager handling multiple demands and eager passengers, she knows how to bring a calm, positive energy to busy situations. Whether your wedding ceremony is traditional, spiritual, interfaith, same-sex, or even a renewal of vows, Nancy will be there to help you create wonderful memories!
Having enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a Canadian Trade Commissioner and as an Ambassador for Canada to Greece and to the United Arab Emirates, David has had the privilege of officiating at numerous special events. He is frequently called upon as a speaker and presenter, and has worked with a broad cross section of cultures and people. As a trained facilitator, David brings the knowledge and experience necessary to ensure that your special day will be all you imagined. Since retiring, David has re-established deep roots back in his own community in Kemptville, spending time with his family, as well as, developing the gardens and farmland of his family’s historic property. This new vocation is one that nicely supports his wife, Victoria’s private wedding chapel, Willow Stone Weddings near Actons Corners, Ontario.
Bill is an established and well known resident of Metcalfe, ON and has enjoyed a long and distinguished career before retirement. Bill has had the privilege of giving back to his community, most notably as President of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society, Chair of the Metcalfe Recreational Committee, Master of the Russell Masonic Lodge #479, and five years as President of the Metcalfe Jets Jr. B Hockey Team. He is frequently called upon as a speaker and presenter, and has worked with a broad cross section of cultures and people. Bill recognizes how important the wedding ceremony is to you as a couple, and his goal is to try to make it exceed all your expectations and needs.

Donna is a retired elementary school principal and a graduate of Ottawa University with her B.A. and M.Ed. She has welcomed many new families to Canada and has gleaned valuable insights into their cultures. She enjoys piano lessons and her cycling and running pursuits. A resident of Manotick, she immensely enjoys her voluntary work with Candlelighters, and assists Babouchka's Farm in Val des Monts with the sales and distribution of goat soap to benefit childhood cancer support programs. It will be a pleasure for Donna to bring you ease of mind and ensure lasting memories are created from your spiritual, interfaith, or same-sex wedding ceremony.
Doug is a great family guy. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for 38 years and together they have been blessed with a family of two girls and 7 grand kids. He is active in the community, and volunteers for different organizations. As an Officiant, Doug is very open to conducting either a non–denominational or spiritual wedding ceremony. Residing with her teenage children and husband in the Barrhaven area in Ottawa, Jody enjoys the opportunity to celebrate new beginnings through the eyes of the couples she serves. Daniel (Dan) lives in the country near Cardinal, a graduate of Carleton University with both a BA and MA in Political Science. He is now a small business owner and active member of the community. Dan enjoys supporting his two teenaged daughters in their extracurricular activities, and volunteering with the South Grenville Food Bank, the Beth Donovan Hospice and his Masonic Lodge. An avid public speaker, music lover and vocal performer, Dan is comfortable performing any type of wedding ceremony, from non-denominational to the spiritual, to give each couple the right touch to their very special day.
Steve is a dynamic public speaker, engaging, funny, and inspiring. He has spoken at numerous conferences, church events, retreats, camps, and social functions. With a background in the Toronto film industry, Steve came to Ottawa bringing his great passion for acting/speaking. He respects and acknowledges the inherent beauty in diverse philosophies and traditions. He is equally at home with religious, spiritual and interfaith wedding ceremonies. Steve resides in Kanata with his wife and two children. His spare time usually involves kickboxing, musical composition, French roast coffee, reading, and a Tanqueray TEN martini (in no particular order). Ann is a resident of Osgoode. She is fluently bilingual in English and French, and as a Bonacci, she also has a sprinkle of Italian. When Ann is not conducting wedding ceremonies or spending time with her family, she gives back to her community as treasurer for a non-profit group which supports aid to grandmothers in Africa. Ann’s warm energy will put you at ease, and her goal is to make your ceremony memorable. She has a deep respect for other cultures and faiths. Ann is licenced in Ontario and Quebec, and she would be honoured to work with you both to conduct a memorable inter-faith wedding ceremony or a spiritual wedding ceremony of your choosing.
Gayle Poapst (pronounced Popst) offers warmth, compassion, and a calm confidence to your special day, creating a safe and supportive environment for you and your loved ones. She can offer traditional or Buddhist inspired ceremonies as well as a traditional fire puja chanted in Sanskrit. A retired nurse, Gayle now teaches yoga internationally while running a yoga studio ‘Bodhi Tree Yoga’ in Kemptville, Ontario. She is currently working on building a school and birthing centre in rural India. “My dharma is to love and serve and what better way to do this than to share in the ceremony of uniting two people in a spiritual or non–denominational wedding ceremony.”
